HICKMAN COUNTY
HIGHE
R EDUCATION
INFORMATION

(along with some planning, financial aid, and entrance exam information)

There are many choices of higher educational institutions that offer classes and programs in the area.  More accessible higher education opportunities is a goal for the county.  There are quite a few options in the area already and the following list may help you in your search for the best alternative.  Higher education can take many forms -- anything from one class to learn a specific topic, to vocational training, to degree programs, to graduate degrees -- on campus, off campus, and/or distance learning.  Though you may know what you want to do and where you want to do it, an examination of all your options should prove to be beneficial.

Though there are fewer financial aid options for non-traditional students, this page includes links that specifically addresses financial aid and other issues for the non-traditional student.

The following web sites include general information (where, when, what's offered) along with admission and financial aid information.

We hope that this information is helpful.  Good luck on your quest for knowledge and don't be afraid to ask questions at any stage of your lifelong learning.
